Placing an Order

Ordering by Cat. No.

Using the “Order By Product Code” button found above the blue bar on every page of the website is the most efficient way to place an order if you know the unique product code number. This feature enables you to create an entire order by entering the Fisher Scientific or manufacturing product code number, quantity and selecting the unit of measure.

Ordering whilst being signed in to our website enables a number of features such as order tracking and favourites lists and the price you see is your contract price. It is possible however to place an order as a guest user.

Checking out

When you are ready to check out, click the shopping basket icon located on the blue bar at the top of the site next to ‘Your Account’.

During the checkout process you will have the opportunity to:

·         View your basket

·         Review shipping information

·         Designate a payment method (credit card, account, etc.

·         Verify and submit your order

Guest Check Out

If you don’t have a web account with us, it is possible to purchase a selection of items as a guest. Add your products to your basket and proceed directly to the checkout. You will then have the opportunity to check out as a guest. Click the ‘Check Out as a Guest’ box.

You will then be asked to complete the delivery address details before proceeding to the secure payment page.

Once your payment details have been entered click ‘Proceed’ and your order will be processed.

Using ‘My Lists’

Use this feature to create a list of products that you repeatedly order. You must be signed in to access this feature from the ‘Your Account’ menu. You may create multiple lists; add products to your list directly from the product page or the shopping basket. It is also possible to view ‘My Lists’ on your ‘Account Dashboard’.

Purchasing from a Quote

From your shopping basket, click on ‘Progress Order’. In step 1, enter your quote number in the ‘Additional Comments’ field.  It is possible to view your quotes on your ‘Account Dashboard’.

Tracking an Order

Order Status Tabs (click on ‘Order status’ under ‘Your Account’)

•  Order status results are sorted into three tabs for convenience:

•           Orders — view results by order

•           Items — view results by items contained in orders

•           Invoices — view invoice information

 

Enhanced Search Capability

•  Enter any search term and instantly search for matching orders from over 30 data   fields

•  Customise the date range, or refine search results to view orders in increments of 30 days, six months, 12 months, or previous years

 

Account View Options

•  You may view all order data for your associated account(s)

 

 

 

Filter Results

•  Filter search results by status or P.O. number

 

Order History Reports

•  Instantly download order history reports for recently purchased items

 

Reorder Online

•  Immediately reorder past orders from the order details page

 

Notifications

You will receive email order confirmations as well as shipment and delivery notifications. You can control which notifications you continue to receive in your ‘Account Dashboard’.
