Microporous, transparent membranes- Allow access to cell monolayer from both apical and basolateral domains
- Promote enhanced cell attachment, growth, and differentiation of attachment-dependent and suspension cultures
- Hydrophilic PTFE Biopore™ membranes for neural growth and embryo development work
- Inert and allow repeated viewing of living cells through the membrane
- Suitable for transport and permeability studies, co-culture for cell-cell interaction studies, in vitro toxicity testing, tumor cell metastasis studies, and organotypic cultures
- Fit most 6- or 24-well plates and are easily prepared for SEM and TEM techniques
- Effective growth area for 12mm diameter inserts: 0.6cm2
- Effective growth area for 30mm diameter inserts: 4.2cm2
- Compatible with standard and fluorescent stains
