Frequently Asked Questions
How many people are exposed to harmful chemicals?
According to the 2021 ILO report "Exposure to hazardous chemicals at work and resulting health impacts: A global review" more than 1 billion workers are exposed to hazardous chemicals.
Can I wash my chemical gloves?
In general, we do not recommend laundering chemical protection gloves. They can always be rinsed abundantly with water on the outside; however, please remember that not all the chemicals may be eliminated from the glove material that way; also, this cleaning never restores the integrity of deteriorated glove walls.
What is the difference between conductive, antistatic, and insulative gloves?
Conductive gloves allow electrical currents or charges to freely flow through the material while insulative gloves block the passage of these electrical charges. Antistatic gloves allow electrical charges to pass through them to a ground, but in a controlled manner, to avoid potentially dangerous electrostatic discharge.
